Testing and Inspections

Airfield Digitization

The digitization of airfield markings using AI driven software streamlines maintenance, enhances accuracy, and ensures up-to-date information for airfield personnel, improving runways and taxiways’ management.

Airfield Inspections Part 139

Part 139 airfield certification inspections are comprehensive evaluations conducted by our specialists to ensure airports comply with regulatory standards, ensuring the safety and efficiency of airport operations

Runway Skid Resistance Testing

Airport friction testing services employ specialized equipment to measure the frictional resistance of runways and taxiways, crucial for assessing and maintaining safe landing and takeoff conditions for aircraft.

PCR / PCN (Pavement Classification Rating)

PCR, or Pavement Classification Number, serves as a critical indicator akin to PCN, quantifying a pavement’s load-carrying capacity for unrestricted aircraft operations. It precisely defines the maximum load an aircraft can bear without necessitating additional weight restrictions, providing essential information for optimal flight planning and operational efficiency

Retro-reflectivity Testing

Retro reflectivity testing at airfields is crucial for ensuring that runway and taxiway markings remain highly visible to pilots, particularly during night-time and low-visibility conditions. This testing helps maintain optimal reflectivity levels, reducing the risk of accidents and enhancing overall safety. Regular retro reflectivity testing also ensures compliance with aviation safety standards and contributes to the efficient operation of the airfield.

Photometric Testing

Photometric testing in airfields is essential for verifying that aeronautical ground lighting systems provide adequate illumination and meet regulatory brightness standards, ensuring safe aircraft operations during night and low-visibility conditions. This testing helps detect and rectify lighting deficiencies, preventing potential hazards and improving overall safety. Regular photometric assessments also support compliance with aviation regulations and contribute to the reliability and efficiency of airfield lighting systems.
